
Senior Controls Engineer
The Senior Controls Engineer will support the R&D department by conducting research and development on new products, current products, components, and prototypes with total project responsibility. Industrial control product design projects will include hardware and software design, testing, agency approval, documentation, training, product launch coordination and ongoing maintenance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6-7 years product design and development experience.
• Competent computer database/spreadsheet/word processing abilities.
• Proficient planning & organizational skills, initiative, accountability, detail oriented.
• Electrical/Electronic analysis of equipment.
• Programming experience in programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and PC programming software such as RSLogix, FactoryTalk View, Visual Basic and HTML.
• Knowledge of networking design and support of industrial networking protocols such as Device Net, Profibus, Ethernet I/P and Modbus TCP.
• Capable of designing to UL508, CE and ATEX industry standards.
