Schenck Weighing Systems Ethernet Modules monitor its customer control systems

SCHENCK Weighing Systems now offers an Ethernet Fieldbus Module with its DISOCONT® and Intecont Plus controls for the company's bulk solids metering equipment. The modules are easily installed on a network using standard RJ-45 Ethernet connectors. Screw terminals are also provided for hard-wired cabling.
The Ethernet Module provides three modes of operation with the unique advantage of individual or simultaneous use. The modes of operation are as follows:
1). Web Server - provides configurable web pages to Intranet or Internet. This allows basic monitoring of a customer's system utilizing, for example laptops and PDA's.
2). Fieldbus Mode - Allows Ethernet Modbus TCP for PLC or supervisory systems.
3). Easy Serve Program - A software package used for configuration, diagnostics, and menu customization.
These modes of operation can be done all through one Ethernet connection providing customers the flexibility they seek in monitoring their bulk solids metering equipment.
