CEMENT BLENDING SYSTEMS

For expanded production capacity, reduced CO2 emissions, and lower energy costs the Schenck Process Blending System is the ideal solution for cement manufacturing processes. 

  • Reduces the amount of CKD destined for land fills, as fly ash, slag and CKD are reclaimed and blended into finished cement.
  • Eliminates the need for a high energy mixer. Provides continuous metering of blended cement directly into a truck for shipment.
  • Blended cement reduces the energy consumption normally required in conventional cement production, while reducing consequent CO2 emissions per ton of delivered cement.




System Operation:

The system operates by utilizing two Schenck Process MULTICOR® Mass Flow Meters with one being positioned above or on top of the other (see photo).

The top MULTICOR® receives fly ash, slag or CKD (additives) and meters the materials into a MULTICOR® positioned below. The bottom MULTICOR® receives conveyed cement.
  • A rotating mixing wheel provides online blending.
  • By employing MULTICOR®’s instead of a traditional mixer, energy costs are dramatically reduced.
  • On demand blending and metering directly to a truck eliminates the need for a high energy mixer.
  • No more batch blending, storing, and load out required.
