The revolutionary MECHATRON® family of feeders not only incorporates a superior feeder design that makes so much sense it could obsolete all others, but also brings the automation features that drastically reduce capital investment and installation costs.

MECHATRON® gravimetric and volumetric feeders feature "Mechatronics," a design philosophy used to describe the total integration of mechanics and electronics. Motors and all control requirements are integrated and pre-wired in the feeder so that commissioning is accomplished by simply bringing power and communications to the unit.

"LC" SERIES LOW RANGE CONI-FLEX™ MECHATRON® FEEDER
  • Low-range minor ingredient screw feeder.
  • Theoretical feed rates from 0.002-23 cubic feet per hour (.059 to 650 liters).
  • Complete disassembly from the non-process side.
The "L" Series Coni-Flex MECHATRON® feeder is smaller in size, but feature rich, perfect for feeding additives and other ingredients.

  • Conical cornerless flexible walled (Coni-Flex™) or stainless steel (Coni-Steel™) feed hoppers
  • The ability to disassemble, clean, reconfigure or service the feed screw, motor(s) and the internal feed hopper from the non-process side.

  • Conical cornerless feed hoppers.
  • The only feeder with internal agitation that allows the feed hopper and helix to be removed, cleaned, serviced or reconfigured without removing the internal agitator from the extension.

"MC" SERIES CONI-FLEX™ MECHATRON® FEEDER
  • Mid-range screw feeder
  • Theoretical feed rates from 0.05-330 cubic feet per hour (1.4-9,300 liters).
  • Completely accessible from the non-process side.
  • First to offer "Mechatronics".
  • Can be upgraded from volumetric to gravimetric.
  • Features a unique conical mass flow hopper design.
  • Coni-Flex™ flexible hoppers.
Key features include:
  • A feeder that logically and completely disassembles from the non-process side. Augers, hoppers and other components easily clamp in and out for maintenance, cleaning, reconfiguration or service. Even extension hoppers can stay in place.
  • A feeder concept that accommodates both flexible wall and stainless steel hoppers and is conically shaped for better mass flow.
  • A feeder that can be purchased for volumetric use and upgraded for gravimetric operation, supports single screw or twin screw configurations, internal or external agitation, multiple motor/control arrangements, and more.

  • Stainless steel construction.
  • Internal vertical agitator.
Unlike the flexible walled Coni-Flex™ models, Coni-Steel™ feeders feature all-stainless steel construction and internal agitation systems.

Like Coni-Flex™ MECHATRON® feeders, the Coni-Steel™ design features:
  • Conical cornerless feed hoppers.
  • The ability to quickly disassemble, clean, reconfigure or service the feed screw, motor(s) and the internal feed hopper from the non-process side without removing extension hoppers, inlet valves, and discharge tubes.
  • Floor or hanging mount configurations.
  • Totally integrated and pre-wired ("Mechatronic") volumetric and gravimetric control packages. Profibus, DeviceNet, Ethernet - Modbus TCP fieldbus communications, and XML web pages are optionally available.
